One typewritten manuscript, 87 pages, entitled "Integrated Results of Sixty Years' Operations: Phelps Dodge Corporation - Morenci Branch" and "A Chronicle of Early Operations of the Principal Original Companies: The Arizona Copper Co., Ltd. and the Detroit Copper Mining Company of Arizona" by F. Remington Barr, 1940. The manuscript is a history of the Arizona Copper Company from 1872 to 1921 and the Detroit Copper Company from 1875 to 1919, and includes copper production statistics, wages of Chinese and Mexican workers, comments on strikes, pollution tailings into the San Francisco River, equipment and output, a smallpox epidemic, the 1906 flood, mine owners, and other management concerns.
